Youth killed in explosion

JARANWALA, Aug 12: A youth was burnt alive while another sustained serious injuries in a fireworks explosion here in the city on Friday.

Sheikh Habibur Rehman had stored fireworks at his shop in the grain market which suddenly caught fire. As a result of which two youths Asad (14) and Usman Ghani (15) received serious burn injuries.

They were taken to the Allied Hospital where Asad succumbed to his injuries and the condition of Usman Ghani was stated to be critical. —APP
