PU’s facilities

LAHORE, Aug 11: The Punjab University administration has announced provision of more facilities for the candidates applying for admissions to various departments.

The university has started a special bus service to provide transport facilities to the candidates coming to the university campuses for admissions from various areas of city. A shuttle bus service has also been started on the varsity’s new campus to facilitate the mobility of candidates in various departments.

It has also decided that if any department would opt not to take entrance test, the bank draft already submitted by the candidates for such departments would be refunded.

The disabled selected on merit would be provided free education at the university and the candidates from the quake-affected areas would get special fee concession.

The entrance test for MA/MSc admissions which was scheduled to be held from Aug 15 would now begin on Aug 20.

The departments which would opt for entrance test could receive the admission forms till the last two days before the conduct of the test. The roll number slips for the test would be issued to the candidates at the time of receiving the forms in person. In case of forms received through mail, the roll number slips would be issued two hours before the test.
