Badminton team off to Colombo

LAHORE, Aug 10: A 16-member Pakistan badminton team is due to leave for Colombo on Saturday to take part in the 10th South Asian Games to be held there from Aug 16.

Tariq Farooq and Akhtar Abbas Khawaja are accompanying the team as coach and assistant coach.

Tariq Malik and Saima Batool have been appointed as manager and assistant manager.

Team.

Men: Wajid Ali, Zeeshan Omer, Muhammad Waqas Ahmed, Rizwan Azam, Muhammad Atiq, Shabbar Hussain, Atif Nadeem, Zafar Tasneem.

Women: Ayesha Akram, Asma Butt, Uzma Butt, Saima Manzoor, Farzana Ali, Sara Khan, Sara, Palwasha Basheer.
