KASUR, Aug 9: A man killed his father and his former wife whom he divorced six months ago on the suspicion of having illicit relations on Wednesday at Raja Jang.

Ruqaya, the mother of accused Makhdoom, told police that her son was married to Nasim Akhtar of Okara two years ago.

Meanwhile, Nasim developed relations with her father-in-law Dr Mumtaz. The accused had divorced his wife.

Despite her divorce, Dr. Mumtaz did not send her back to Okara and kept her in his house. The accused found his father and ex-wife in compromising position on Tuesday night and shot them dead.

Police have registered a case without any arrest.

INQUIRY: Forests secretary Maj Javed Majeed (retired) ordered an inquiry against Kasur SDO Arshad Ahmad and EDO (agriculture) Mohammad Arshad for illegally selling trees on Lahore-Kasur Road, Kasur-Chunian Road, Kanganpur Road and along BRB Canal worth millions of rupees.
