BAGH, Aug 9: Union of Journalists on Wednesday urged Muslim countries to hammer out a joint strategy against the Israeli offensive in Lebanon and Palestinian territories and called for boycotting products made in the US, India and Israel.

Addressing the rally, President of the Union of Journalist Pervezul Hassan Tahir said that Pakistan should protest against the killing of innocent people in Lebanon and Palestine.

Vice-President of Journalists Sardar Tahir Abbasi, General Secretary Syed Afraz Gardezi, President of Trade Union Salim Khan, General Secretary Syed Bashir Hussain Shah and President of Mukhtar Force Khan Asghar Ali Khan, Saifullah Chughtai, Shaukat, Mahmood Rather, Zahid Mughal and Sardar Abdul Qayyum also addressed the gathering.

They urged Muslim countries to use oil as a weapon against Israel.—Online
