MUZAFFARABAD, Aug 8: Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and convener of People’s Muslim League, said on Monday that troops’ build-up along the Line of Control (LoC) had begun again, and the Indian army was committing ceasefire violations.
“The situation along the LoC is no more pleasant as the hostilities have resumed,” he told a news conference here.
Barrister Sultan, who is here on a campaign to “expose incidents of massive rigging in the AJK polls”, said he himself heard the thunders of shelling during his rally in a border town of district Kotli on Saturday.
“The relations between India and Pakistan have soured after Mumbai blasts and the situation has gone beyond the expulsion of diplomats,” he said.
