KARACHI: Body found in suitcase

KARACHI, Aug 8: A headless body trussed up in a suitcase was recovered in Korangi on Tuesday. The suitcase was found at a derelict place in Zia Colony, police said.

Police shifted the body to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities. The identification of the victim could not be ascertained immediately, police said.

LOOTED: A post office was looted by bandits in Landhi on Tuesday.

A policeman was also injured during the incident when fleeing bandits were challenged by a head constable Mohammad Arshad. The bandits opened fire at him and managed to escape.

Police said bandits managed to take away only Rs9000 from the counter.
