OKARA, Aug 6: A bogie of Karachi-bound cargo train derailed here on Saturday night near the under-construction railway underpass. Reports said the goods train derailed near district courts complex as a result of which rail traffic between Lahore and Multan remained suspended for six hours. On Sunday morning, a rescue team cleared the track, restoring the train movement.
That was the second incident of derailment during the last 20 days. — Correspondent
