KARACHI: Road project reviewed

KARACHI, Aug 6: Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Nazim Wasay Jalil has directed the officials concerned and contractors to ensure that the ongoing works at Rashid Minhas Road are completed by October.

He was presiding over a meeting held to review the work progress. He expressed dissatisfaction over the pace of work and asked for its reasons.

He directed the officials to check the work so far done at Rashid Minhas Road and verify if it had been done according to the drawings and designs approved by the city government.

The town nazim instructed further to undertake carpeting of the service roads where the water and sewerage lines have been laid recently.—PPI
