Killed by in-laws

LAHORE, Aug 5: One person was killed allegedly by his in-laws in Nishtar Colony on Saturday. Patras Masih had gone to the in-laws to bring his estranged wife back. The father and a brother of Sumera, the estranged wife of Patras Masih, 30, allegedly stabbed him to death.

Police have arrested the accused. No case has for been registered against them.

In New Anarkali police station jurisdiction, Akram, 22, was electrocuted.

Employee of a local restaurant, he was fixing a bulb at his workplace when he he suffered a shock.

Saleem, 55, was seriously injured when a motorcycle hit him in Anarkali. He was removed to the Mayo Hospital where he breathed his last.

The motorcyclists, unidentified so far, managed to escape.

Shumaila, a young girl of the Jallo Morr area, allegedly took poison after quarrelling with her mother.

She was taken to hospital but could not survive. —Staff Reporter
