KARACHI, Aug 1: The administrative judge of anti-terrorism courts in Karachi on Tuesday acquitted five suspects, including three women of kidnapping for ransom charge as no evidence was found against them.

Sher Bano, Zahida, Shahida, Shahid and Sadar Ayub are charged with kidnapping Sabir Ali, 7, in the limits of Kala Kot area on July 17. They are accused of demanding Rs1 million from family members of the abductee.

The IO submitted his 169 CrPC report before AJ Ms Justice Qaiser Iqbal of the Sindh High Court seeking release of accused as no evidence was found against them.—PPI
