Man shot dead

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 10: A Hindu landlord, Seth Goband Ram, 48, son of Aasandas, was shot dead near Mirwah town, 40km from here on Sunday, over a dispute of agricultural land.

The landlord was visiting his land when about eight armed men of Khaskheli clan attacked him with axes, snatched his pistol and opened fire killing him on the spot.

Owing to indiscriminate firing, one of the attackers, Altaf, 16, also sustained bullet injuries.
