LAHORE: PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz visited the residence of martyred Maj Wajahat Waheed here on Friday and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
He met the martyr’s mother, brother, wife and other family members and expressed his heartfelt sympathies over the sacrifice rendered by the army officer.
He said Maj Wajahat laid down his life while defending the motherland and performing his duties. He said brave sons of the nation like Maj Waheed were a source of pride and a precious national asset. The sacrifices of martyrs who gave their lives for the security of the country could never be forgotten, he added.
