Hydropower projects

LAHORE, July 29: Wapda and ILF signed an agreement here on Saturday for carrying out feasibility studies of two hydropower projects having a collective potential of around 900 MW.

The cost of the studies has been estimated at 4.11 million Euros to be paid out of five million Euro grant provided by the KFW.

The two proposed projects - Chor Nullah having a potential power production capacity of 369 MW and Spat Gah 545 MW - are part of six small projects on tributaries of Indus River Wapda is working on.—Staff Reporter
