SHEIKHUPURA, July 28: Six people, including a woman, shot dead a petrol pump owner in Khanqah Dogran in Nankana district on Friday over rivalry.

Police said Babar, Naseer, Dilawar, Motia Bibi and two unidentified men attacked on filling station owner Haji Aslam when he was sitting in his office and killed him on the spot.

Police claimed that Haji Aslam’s son had divorced Motia and she suspected that he was involved in the divorce. She killed him to take revenge, they added.

ROBBERY: Three armed robbers snatched cash from a filling station cashier in Sangla Hill city in Nankana district on Friday.

The robbers came to the Lucky Filling Station on a car and asked the salesman to fill the tank. When he demands money, they pulled out their weapons and snatched Rs23,000 in cash and sped away.

DIES: A labourer was burnt to death in stove burst in Kot Abdul Maalik locality. Noor Ahmad was making tea on a stove when it caught fire and burst with a bang as a result of which he suffered serious burn injuries and died on way to hospital.

SHOT DEAD: A man was shot dead over a minor dispute in Manuabad locality on Thursday.

Maqsood Ahmad had a dispute with Azam and Shahbaz who ambushed him outside the street where he lived. He died on way to hospital.
