LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), July 27: A Lashkar-i-Islam supporter was killed and seven others were made captive by their opponents in Dwa Thoy area of Tirah Valley on Wednesday.

Reports from the valley said that armed men of the Lashkar-i-Islam were trying to enter Bagh when they were intercepted by activists of the Ansar-ul-Islam.

Fifty more families reached Bara from Tirah on Wednesday night. Sources in Bara said that an armed group of the Lashkar-i-Islam had blocked supply of daily use items to Garhi village where majority of the Anasr-ul-Islam supporters live.

Meanwhile, expressing concern over the situation in Tirah Valley, a number of Bara elders and councillors have demanded of the political administration to intervene.
