KARACHI, July 27: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf staged a big rally at the Karachi Press Club on Thursday to condemn Israel aggression against innocent Lebanese and Palestinian people in its continued offensive.

The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-Israel and anti-US slogans. While raising slogans condemning Israel and US, they also deplored Pakistani rulers for pursuing a pro-US policy. During the protest, they burnt an effigy of President Bush.

PTI Sindh chief Mohammad Zubair Khan, addressing the participants of the rally, said that by providing weapons to Israel, the US and West had showed that they were against Islam and Muslims.

PTI city chief Tariq Khan and other leaders also spoke on the occasion.—PPI
