LAHORE: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has launched a first aid guidance service on emergency helpline 15 to provide citizens with immediate guidance on essential first-aid measures during medical emergencies and accidents.

The service will cover a range of emergencies, including road accidents, heart attacks, strokes, burns, electric shocks, drowning, unconsciousness and animal bites, among other emergency situations.

Under the newly-introduced service, citizens can dial 15 and receive first-aid guidance from trained representatives, enabling them to take appropriate initial measures while waiting for rescue teams or medical assistance to arrive.

According to a safe city spokesperson, timely and accurate first-aid guidance can help save lives and prevent further complications.
