ISLAMABAD: The Association of Consulting Engineers Pakistan (ACEP) elected a new body for a two-year term 2026-28.
ACEP is a registered body, recognised by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), working to advance the profession of consulting engineers.
According to a press release, Engineer Waseem Asghar has been elected as chairman, while Engineer Khalid Mirza has been elected as senior vice chairman, and Engr Wasif Nazar Siddiqui has been elected as vice chairman.
Meanwhile, Nadeem Arif, Saleem Rangoon Wala, Musaib Qureshi, Kamran Siddqiue, Fahad Hasan, Tanveer Ahsan and Safwan Ali have been elected as members of the executive council.
According to a press release, ACEP was established in 1989 as a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing the profession of consulting engineers in Pakistan. “With a membership base of 120 firms, ACEP strives to disseminate engineering knowledge, promote ethical practices, and foster collaboration between the public and private sectors,” it said.
