An explosion in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad has destroyed a residential building and injured two people, Al Jazeera reports citing Iranian broadcaster IRIB, which cites a local fire department spokesperson.
According to the report, firefighters and emergency responders rushed to the scene and transported the injured to medical facilities. The cause of the explosion is being investigated.
