BAHAWALPUR: A 35-year-old woman was electrocuted at her house in Basti Haji Sadiq, Mauza Kote Dadu Ghalloo, on Kalanchwala Road near Musafirkhana on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122, Asma Bibi was attempting to switch on a water pump when she suffered an electric shock and died on the spot.
Rescue 1122 personnel reached the scene after receiving an emergency call and pronounced her dead.
They later handed over the body to her family.
