Ready for a dino-sized adventure? Get your pup packs ready because PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie takes Chase, Marshall, Skye, Rubble, Rocky and Zuma somewhere they have never been before — a mysterious island teeming with dinosaurs!

This exciting, colourful 88-minute adventure is packed with dinosaurs, rescue missions, comedy, friendship, teamwork and, of course, Mayor Humdinger. The adventure begins when the pups are caught in a mysterious storm and washed ashore on an uncharted tropical island. But this is no ordinary island. There are dinosaurs and all kinds of prehistoric creatures. They also meet Rex, a clever pup who lives there and knows a lot about dinosaurs.

Just as scientists arrive to study the dinosaurs, Mayor Humdinger comes up with a sinister plan of his own. After serving his prison sentence, he returns with his kittens and clumsy friends, but the pups and Ryder are there to stop him.

Cal Brunker returns as director after PAW Patrol: The Movie and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. The voice cast features Carter Young as Marshall, Mckenna Grace as Skye, Rain Janjua as Chase, William Desrosiers as Rocky, Nylan Parthipan as Zuma, Lucien Duncan-Reid as Rubble, Hayden Chamberlen as Rex and Henry Bolan as Ryder. Ron Pardo returns as Mayor Humdinger, joined by Jennifer Hudson, Terry Crews, Jameela Jamil, Fortune Feimster, Bill Nye, Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg.

The animation is bright, colourful and full of motion. The dinosaurs, tropical island and volcanic rescue scenes bring plenty of excitement to the big screen. This time, Marshall gets an especially important story. He worries that his mistakes mean he isn’t good enough to be part of the team. But the movie reminds him, and us, that making mistakes doesn’t mean you should give up. Sometimes you just need to try again.

Rex is another interesting addition. As a dinosaur expert who uses a wheelchair, he proves that a disability does not stop someone from being capable, brave and helpful. His knowledge becomes extremely useful to the other pups.

Overall, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie delivers what we want: dinosaurs, funny pups, exciting rescues, colourful animation and a giant volcano! Most importantly, it teaches positive lessons about friendship, teamwork, courage, asking for help and never giving up.
