Murad shines

FAISALABAD, July 24: Murad Bakhsh scored two goals as Karachi-based Mauripur Baloch beat Nushki's Baloch Club 2-1 in group-I battle of the final phase of the sixth Pakistan Football Federation Cup here at the Agricultural University Ground on Monday.

Mauripur suffered a setback in the 62nd minute of the match when Nuski's Liaquat Ali scored the only goal of his side.

Murad Bakhsh scored the equaliser in the 70th minute and the second goal in the 79th minute.

In another match, Sui Southern Gas Company held Punjab Medical College of Faisalabad to a 1-1 draw.

Wasim Ahmed and Mohammad Asif scored the goals for their teams.—PPI
