MIRPURKHAS, Oct 17: The executive director, Marie Stopes Society, Dr Mohsina said that her NGO had 30 centres in the country from where facilities for family planning were being provided on nominal charges, and added that she was visiting the districts of Sindh to monitor the progress of her organization.

She was speaking at a ceremony held on Wednesday by the Marie Stopes Society, Mirpurkhas.

The operation director, Karachi, Siddique Kiani said that in interior Sindh, his NGO had centres at Sukkur, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah, Tando Adam, Khairpur, Thari Mirwah, Ranipur, Pir Jo Goth, Kot Diji, Shikarpur and Karachi.

The in charge of the Mirpurkhas centre, Miss Zubya, said that about six camps had been set up during a four-month period and 300 patients regarding family planning had been treated.

Those who spoke on the occasion included Azhar Abbas and the DCO, Mirpurkhas, Mir Hussain Ali.

JSQM MEETING: An urgent meeting of the Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaaz (JSQM), Mirpurkhas District, was held on Wednesday. It was presided over by its coordinator, Ali Hassan Chandio.
