LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle on Saturday arrested three alleged members of an agent network operating outside the passport office in Garden Town for allegedly extorting money from citizens.
According to an FIA spokesperson, Nadeem, Munir and Amjad were collecting money from citizens illegally on the pretext of facilitating issuance of passports.
He said passports, tokens, bank challans, receipts and other material were recovered from the suspects during the operation.
