SUKKUR, July 21: Local peo-ple and activists of Sindh Nati-onal Front staged a sit-in on Indus Highway bringing the traffic to a halt for two hours before staging a rally in Dodapur town near Jacobabad on Thursday to protest against the town’s SHO.

The town also observed a complete strike on the call of SNF. All the main bazaars remained closed throughout the day.

Hundreds of SNF activists and people staged a rally which marched through the main streets before reaching the Indus Highway where it staged a sit-in for two hours.

The protesters shouted slogans against police especially the SHO of Dodapur who they alleged patronized crimes in the area.

The blockade prompted the DPO and other police officials to rush to the scene and try to persuade the protestors to the blockade but in vain.
