Kidnapped youngster recovered; two arrested in Faisalabad

TOBA TEK SINGH: Ghulam Muhammadabad police in Faislabad claimed to have recovered a kidnapped youngster, arresting two of the 10 alleged kidnappers, in a raid in Madina Town on Susan Road on Wednesday.

As per the police, the prime suspect, Shahbaz, and his accomplice had abducted the youngster, Kashif, over suspicion that he had their unethical videos.

The suspects had kidnapped the youngster, along with his mobile phone and laptop, and took him away to a premises in Madina Town.However, the police traced the whereabouts of the suspects and conducted a raid on their hideout, recovering Kashif and his kidnappers.

TWO KILLED IN ‘ENCOUNTER’: Faisalabad’s Sandalbar police claimed on Wednesday to have killed two alleged robbers, who had shot a rickshaw driver dead over resistance on Tuesday night on Sadhar Bypass Road.

The police claimed that they receiving a call that four suspects looted a man and fled towards Linda Canal bridge.

Acting on the information, a team was dispatched, which chased the suspects, who opened fire on the policemen near Aminpur Bypass Road.

Following an exchange of fire between the two sides, the police claimed that two of the suspects were found lying dead on the spot. They claimed that the suspects died in the firing by their own accomplices, who fled away.

The dead suspects were identified as Rashid and Kashif, who, according to the police were also involved in a number of robberies.

MINOR GIRL MURDERED: A youngster allegedly murdered his minor stepsister at Chak 327 JB, Bhalair, Toba Tek Singh, on Wednesday.

As per the police, Manzoor Ahmad claimed in the FIR that his stepson Akhtar Ali took the complainant’s seven-year-old daughter Sana on the rooftop of his house and shot her dead.He claimed that the suspect killed the minor girl over “jealousy”.

Police are conducting raids to arrest the suspect.

ROAD CRASHES: A man died and five others were injured when a bus going from Rajanpur to Lahore hit a mini-truck near Samundri Interchange on M-3 Motorway late on Tuesday night.

As per Rescue 1122, the incident occurred when the driver dozed off and the bus hit the truck’s rear end, resulting in the instant death Zubair (26), the security guard of the bus.

Those injured included Shair Muhammad (55), Adnan (28), Allah Bakhsh (26), Shahid Nadeem(45) and bus driver Shahid (32). They were shifted to Samundri THQ Hospital. Meanwhile, in Kabirwala tehsil of Khanewal, a tractor-trolley laden with rice husk overturned on Fazil Shah Road, resulting in the death of one Afzal (46).
