Two injured in grenade attack

QUETTA, July 18: The wife and a daughter of a police officer were injured in a grenade attack in Mastung town, some 50 km south-east of here, on Tuesday. Police said a hand-grenade had been hurled in the house of an ASI of PS Mastung.

A police team reached the place and rushed the injured to the civil hospital.

Meanwhile, security forces seized arms and ammunition from Haideri Nullah during a search operation.

The cache include 20 rocket-launchers, 122 rockets, two mortar gunsand high explosive material.

Officials said that three more commanders of Nawab Bugti — Wadera Bugti Khan, Wadera Ghulam Hussain and Wadera Lawang Khan – had surrendered along with their 27 supporters to the administration in Toba Nokhani area.
