Two drivers shot dead by bandits

SIALKOT, July 18: Two people were shot dead by dacoits in separate incidents here late Monday night. Truck driver Bilal Ahmad was shot dead by some dacoits on resistance near Jethikey-Bela, Sambrial tehsil. The bandits fled while firing in the air.

Sambrial police have registered a case.

In another incident, Uggoki-based truck driver Malik Riaz was going to deliver poultry chickens in Pasrur when some armed men tried to loot him. When he put up resistance, the dacoits shot him dead.

Police have registered a case.

Meanwhile, the people have expressed concern over these incidents and demanded early arrest of the accused.—Correspondent
