KARACHI, July 18: The department of health, vector control and fumigation of the city government, is all set to start a special fumigation drive in all the 18 towns of the city from July 20.

According to the schedule, the fumigation drive will be carried out in Gulshan Town on July 20; Shah Faisal on 21st; Lyari on 22nd; SITE on 24th; Baldia on 25th; Orangi on 26th; Jamshed Town on 27th; Keamari and North Nazimabad on 29th; Liaquatabad on 31st; Gulberg on Aug 1; New Karachi on 2nd; Saddar on 3rd; Malir on 4th; Landhi on 5th; Korangi on 7th; Bin Qasim on 8th and in Gadap Town on 9th.

Special fumigation machines would be used during the campaign in question. Inspectors and supervisors of health departments of relevant towns are advised to ensure fumigation in their towns according to the schedule, and send their daily working report in this regards to the district officer health, fumigation and vector control.--PPI
