LAHORE, July 17: Stock of prepared items and machinery worth thousands of rupees reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a rubber factory at Hajveri Town, Multan Chungi, here on Monday. Fire fighters controlled the fire after two hours’ hectic efforts. However, no loss of life was reported. Cause was stated to be a short-circuit. —APP
