RAWALPINDI: The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) conducted an awareness session at Fatima Jinnah Cadet College on Friday, engaging more than 150 first- and second-year students on the importance of safe, respectful and harassment free workplaces.
The session was led by Yumna Jamil, Communications Officer, along with Assistant Registrars Shaza Kaleem and Aneesa Zeb. Participants were sensitised to the concept of workplace harassment, their legal rights and responsibilities and the complaint and redress mechanisms available under the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act.
The session encouraged students to recognise unacceptable behaviour, understand available legal safeguards and contribute to fostering workplaces built on dignity, respect and equal opportunity.
FOSPAH continues to expand its nationwide awareness initiatives to promote safe and inclusive workplaces through education, outreach and engagement with academic institutions.
