Quetta, July 15: Twelve commanders of Nawab Akbar Bugti, belonging to the Massori Bugti clan, on Saturday surrendered before authorities along with their 80 supporters.

They handed over their weapons to Balochistan Home Minister Mir Mohammad Shoaib Nausherwani at a ceremony held in the Bekar area of the Dera Bugti district.

Wadera Khan Mohammad Massori Bugti and Wadera Haji Kalu Khan Nokhani Bugti and 10 other commanders also announced to quit the Jamhoori Watan Party and joined the government party.

As many as 600 supporters of the commanders also joined the government party.
