QUETTA, Oct 17: Maulana Abdul Sattar Eidhi arrived in Quetta on Wednesday to leave for Chaman on Thursday with large quantities of wheat flour, medicines, tents, and other goods destined for Kandahar.
“I intend to set up a makeshift tent hospital in Kandahar he told Dawn on Wednesday. He added that Khawaja Aslam, the Eidhi representative in Chaman, had already talked to the Taliban representative to finalize arrangements.
A number of injured are been treated in hospitals at Chaman and Quetta. On Wednesday a young man Khair Mohammad was brought to Civil Hospital Chaman with chest and back injuries.
