DADU, July 13: The president of the Pakistan People’s Party, Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has said that party chairperson Benazir Bhutto will return home before general elections and the PPP will come into power through people’s mandate.

He was talking to newsmen during the by-election campaign for the Sindh Assembly seat PS-75 in Johi town on Thursday.

On the occasion, PPP candidate for PS-75 Syed Ghulam Shah Jilani, PPP leaders, Zafar Leghari, Qambar Leghari and Dost Ali Jessar were present.

He said that PPP candidate Ghulam Shah Jilani will succeed and if the government resorted to rigging his party would resist.

He said that the law and order situation in the province has deteriorated and economic crisis had deepened.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah also held a meeting with party workers in Dadu town. Later, he offered fateha at the Dargah of Qalandar Shahbaz in Sehwan.
