BAHAWALPUR: Saddar Police Dunyapur in Lodhran district on Saturday arrested the suspect on charge of raping a minor girl about a week back.
According to the FIR on the complaint of the victim’s mother, a resident of Chak 309/WB, the suspect along with his unidentified accomplice barged into her house at midnight on June 28.
The abducted her daughter at gunpoint, took her to fields and raped her. On hearing her screams, when neighbours reached the scene, both the suspects fled under the cover of darkness and she, with the help of her witnesses, shifted her unconscious daughter to hospital.
