Teenage girl dies by suicide

KARACHI: A teenage girl took her own life in her Surjani Town home on Tuesday.

Area SHO Sohail Khaskheli said 19-year-old Zoya had recently become engaged but was unhappy with the engagement. She allegedly consumed a poisonous substance at her home in Khuda Ki Basti and died.

The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
