SUKKUR: Several thousand devotees from across Sindh and other parts of the country attended the ‘Kabir Panth Mela’, held annually in the Noor Shah Bhit area near Sukkur.

The three-day event, marking the 629th birth anniversary of Sufi Saint and poet Bhagat Kabir, concluded at the historical Kabir Panth shrine on Monday night.

A number of religious leaders and followers of the saint spoke to the participants at different sessions and rituals. They stressed the need for interfaith harmony and peaceful co-existence of all communal entities in Sindh and the entire region.
