Constable dies in road accident

SARGODHA, July 12: A constable was killed on Wednesday in a road accident near Chaowal village. Gulzar Ahmed of Miana Gondal village, posted at Qadirabad police station, was going to Daulatabad to deliver summons of witnesses in a murder case by his motorcycle when a speeding vehicle hit him. He died on the spot.

Kot Momin police have registered a case and are trying to trace the vehicle and its driver.

In another road accident near Luk Morr, a tractor rammed into a rickshaw, resulting in serious injuries to four people. They were admitted to the local DHQ Hospital.—APP
