Woman tourist injured in paragliding accident in Hunza

GILGIT: A female tourist was injured during a paragliding incident in the Duikar area of Hunza on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122, the woman, identified as a tourist from Islamabad, fell while landing in the Duikar area during paragliding.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Rescue 1122 personnel reached the spot and provided first aid.

Using a stretcher, rescue officials shifted her to an ambulance and later transported her through difficult terrain to the District Headquarters Hospital in Aliabad, Hunza. According to hospital authorities, the woman is currently receiving treatment and her condition is stable and out of danger.
