Man found shot dead in his car

LAHORE: A man’s body with a bullet wound was found in his car at Ghazi Ring Road Interchange.

Identified as Muhammad Adil, the deceased was a resident of Dharampura. Police found him dead with a single gunshot wound to his temple.

Police found the uniform of a sub-inspector, Tahir, on a back seat of Adil’s car.

Later, it transpired that Sub-Inspector Tahir was a friend of the deceased and was posted at the South Cantt Police Station.

Tahir told police that Adil was facing financial constraints. A police official said Adil’s family was reluctant to lodge a case.
