Upon receiving information about the incident, Chief Warden Civil Defence Masoom Wazir immediately reached the scene and arranged for the bodies to be shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Bannu, for legal formalities and postmortem examination.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident; however, no arrests have been made so far, and the motives behind the killings remain unclear.
