TOBA TEK SINGH: A car overturned on Motorway M-3 near the Pirmahal Rest Area early Sunday morning, leaving one person dead and five others from the same family critically injured.

According to Rescue 1122 and Motorway Police officials, the accident occurred after a tyre of the vehicle burst. All six family members, residents of Lahore, were returning after visiting the shrine of Hazrat Sultan Bahoo in Jhang.

The deceased was identified as Haji Gulzar Ahmad (60). The injured were identified as Faraz Abid (14), Hamza Umar (24), Bilal Ali (24), Abu Zar Ali (16), and Abid Ali (45). They were shifted to the Pirmahal THQ Hospital, where doctors referred them to the DHQ Hospital, Toba Tek Singh.

Meanwhile, near Haveli Koranga Police Station in Kabirwala tehsil of Khanewal district, a speeding tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to two others.
