US Vice President JD Vance says that talks to end the war on Iran are possible on Sunday, according to Al Jazeera.
Speaking to Fox News, he says US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, are already in Switzerland for negotiations.
He adds that the US is confident it can maintain a ceasefire in Iran and claims that there is no evidence that Iran is closing the Strait of Hormuz.
