Father’s Day is the perfect time to make something special for Dad with your own hands. In this craft, with just a few simple materials, we will make a tiny bouquet that Dad can keep as a sweet reminder of your love.

  1. Cut the green A-4-sized paper into 3-inch-wide strips, picture 2.

  2. Cut the strips into equal 3-inch pieces, picture 3.

  3. You can use green floral tape to cover the toothpick and make the stem. If you do not have any, wrap and paste green paper around the toothpick instead. Make about five stems; pictures 4 and 5.

  4. Cut the coloured paper into pieces measuring 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. I used purple, but you can choose any colour; picture 6.

  5. Fold each piece in half and make thin slits (fringes) along one side, picture 7.

  6. Open the paper and stick double-sided tape along one side. Remove the backing and secure the paper; pictures 8 and 9.

  7. Place double-sided tape on the plain side of the folded fringed paper, then remove the backing; picture 10.

  8. Place the stem on the tape and roll the paper around it diagonally; picture 11.

  9. Make five flowers in the same way; picture 12.

  10. Tie a rubber band around the flowers and wrap them first in white paper, then in brown paper to make a tiny bouquet, picture 13.

  11. Tie a fancy ribbon or jute string around the bouquet. Your cute bouquet is ready! You can attach it to a gift, paste it on a card, or give it just as it is. It is a simple but thoughtful gift for Dad.
