Arid varsity holds first undergraduate entry test for Fall 2026

RAWALPINDI: Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) on Sunday conducted its first entry test for undergraduate admissions Fall 2026, with thousands of candidates appearing from across the country.

The test was held at the university’s main campus, and simultaneously in 14 cities, including Attock, Khushab, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Burewala, Multan, Rajanpur, Bhalwal, Skardu and Gilgit, to facilitate applicants from different regions, said a press release.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman said the university remained committed to providing quality education through qualified faculty, modern academic facilities and an inclusive admissions process. He said efforts were being made to make admission procedures more accessible for students nationwide.
