QUETTA, Oct 17: The Jamiat Ulema Islam will organize meetings and rallies every Friday after Juma prayers in all parts of the country to protest against US air raids on Afghanistan and Pakistan’s support for the purpose.

A two-day meeting of JUI Central Executive Committee, provincial presidents and secretaries and central leadership presided over by acting Amir Maulana Abdul Ghani, instructed Balochistan JUI to prepare plan for siege of Pasni airport and other airports where US forces have been given facilities.

The JUI leadership decided to contact political and religious parties and tribal personalities to give an impetus to its campaign against US attacks.

Young JUI activists have been instructed to get themselves registered at district offices with their blood group and residential addresses so that blood could be collected whenever the need arose in Afghanistan.

Party offices have been asked to organize fund mobilisation campaign for Afghan Mujahideen. Khatibs of mosques have been asked to mobilise public opinion against US.

The party condemned the visit of US Secretary of State Colin Powell to Pakistan.
