Wheat supply to KP ordered

ISLAMABAD: The Mini­stry of National Food Secu­rity has decided to supply wheat to Khyber Pakhtu­nkhwa after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the ministry to ensure supply through the Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation.

Federal Minister for Food Security Rana Tan­veer Hus­s­­ain said the move was aim­ed at protecting the people of KP from the effe­cts of inflation. He said instructions ha­­ve been issued to ensure im­­mediate and effective wheat supply through Passco.
