Iranian armed forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi says Iran has proven it can respond decisively to US threats, after Trump said he was getting close to ordering new strikes targeting Iran’s power plants and bridges, Al Jazeera reports.

In comments carried by Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency, Shekarchi says Tehran has responded to all of Trump’s threats and will “not back down”.
