KARACHI: Hudood cases

KARACHI, July 8: Pursuant to the ordinance issued by President Pervez Musharraf to facilitate release of all women detained under Hudood laws, except those charged with murder and terrorism, Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court Justice Haziqul Khairi has directed its principal seat at Islamabad and registries at Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar to place before him all such cases within the jurisdiction of FSC for necessary orders.—PPI
